Senior management Refresher - 2 days

This course introduces proven and up to date processes which will help experienced managers make better use of their skills.

The course is highly participative, making extensive use of case study exercises. There will also be opportunities to discuss and work on participants’ own issues.

Course Objectives

Participants will acquire the knowledge and skills to:

• Use an integrated approach to setting objectives, developing operational plans and managing performance to achieve them
• Identify and analyse performance problems and plan to resolve them
• Identify key individual and team motivators and use them to improve performance
• Review performance and give effective feedback
• Understand the implications of different leadership styles and the implications of their own preferences
• Understand the differences between creative and analytical thinking and their importance to management
• Use structured approaches to make effective decisions and resolve problem issues
